In the context of comprehensive
innovation in higher education and the rapid
advances of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Vinh
University consistently seeks to adopt advanced
educational models tailored to its practical
conditions to enhance training quality and meet
societal demands. This paper analyzes global
trends in the development of teacher education
programs, including their trajectories, objectives
and learning outcomes. Drawing on case studies,
the paper proposes lessons learned that can be
applied to improve teacher education programs at
Vinh University in aligment with the institution’s
strategic goals in the new phase. The proposed
solutions aim to ensure flexibility, creativity, and
effectiveness in enhancing teaching competencies
and adapting to current educational requirements.
