Phung Chi Kien (known as Nguyen Vy) was born on May 18, 1901, in a poor peasant family with a revolutionary tradition in Van Phang canton, now Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district, Nghe An province. Phung Chi Kien was a revolutionary leader, a military man and an excellent student of leader Ho Chi Minh. Understanding the life and career of Phung Chi Kien is a practical work, contributing to affirming his contributions to the nation's history. In this article, we refer to the revolutionary activities of Phung Chi Kien from 1925 to 1941 through the archives at Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Museum.
