Digital economy structuring for sustainable development: The role of CSR and green technology in improving green stock – Evidence from Vietnam

Sustainable Development (SD) has been the demand of the entire world nowadays and this aspect requires the attentions of recent studies and policymakers. Thus, the current study examines impact of corporate social responsibilities (CSR) and green technology on the SD of manufacturing industry in Vietnam. The article also investigates the mediating role of green stock among CSR, green technology and SD and also examines the moderating role of digital economy among CSR, green technology and SD. The study has taken the primary data from the employees of manufacturing industry in Vietnam using surveys. The article also checks the data reliability and association among variables using smart-PLS. The outcomes indicated that the CSR and green technology have a positive association with SD. The results also exposed that green stock significantly mediates among CSR, green technology and SD. The findings also revealed that the digital economy significantly moderates among CSR, green technology on the SD of manufacturing industry in Vietnam. The article provides the help to the policymakers in making policies related to attain the SD using high investment in green stock, by adopting CSR activities and green technology.
