Teaching math problem solving creates good opportunities for learners to experience and practice practical activities and apply mathematical knowledge and methods to solve problems inside and outside of Math. The reality of teaching Mathematics shows that anticipating students' struggles and mistakes in advance to help them proactively prevent, detect and correct them is anessential task for teachers. The study proposes a math solving teaching process to help students detect and correct mistakes in high schools with specific directions and illustrative examples in each step. Once mistakes in solving math problems are pointed out clearly, students can absorb knowledge actively, thereby learning with motivation and deepening their knowledge, contributing to improving the effectiveness of Math teaching
