The Garden Lizard populations Calotes versicolor have much difference
in the number of lamellas under fingers and toes, size of the leg, and parts of the
head. The snout-vent length is more related closely to head length (R²: 0.7300-
0.8846) than tail length (R²: 0.6508-0.8324) and trunk length (R²: 0.6829-
0.7509). There have been interruptions of geographical variation and
morphological differences between the populations in Thanh Hoa and those in
Nghe An and Ha Tinh.
