Developing primary school teacher training programs approaching CDIO is a solution to enhance the quality of primary teacher education. Based on the requirements of the steps in constructing primary school teacher training programs approaching CDIO, the article surveys the current status of developing primary school teacher training programs in various aspects: analyzing the context of primary school teacher training, identifying the objectives of primary school teacher training, establishing the learning outcomes of the primary school teacher training programs approaching CDIO, designing the curriculum for primary school teacher training approaching CDIO, constructing detailed course outlines, and evaluating the training program according to CDIO standards. The survey results identify the strengths and weaknesses of the current situation, from which recommendations are made to improve the effectiveness of developing and advancing primary school teacher training programs that approach CDIO standards.
