This article focuses on summarizing some issues raised in the implementation of the General Education Program on Civic Education in the past time in general schools, from which it initially proposes some solutions to contribute to the implementation of the General Education Program on Civic Education to be more and more suitable and achieve better results. With aspects of determining goals, building a competency assessment matrix, designing learning activities, innovating teaching methods and techniques in organizing teaching of Civic Education, etc., these are suggested solutions that can be practical and effective not only for teachers of Civic Education but also have reference value for teachers of other subjects in general schools today.
