The efforts to renew the tone of the writers after Doi Moi writing about war have brought about high artistic efficiency, first of all creating flexibility in the art of narrative, contributing to expanding the scope of reflecting reality, creating conditions for deeper contemplation and thinking about human destiny and issues related to war. Studying the characteristics of the narrative tone in Vietnamese novels after Doi Moi writing about war, the article aims to point out the unique features in the narrative tone of this genre of novels, thereby clarifying the efforts of artistic innovation of the writers, the new humanistic values of the works, and the general creative direction of Vietnamese literature after Doi Moi writing about the theme of war.
