STEAM is an interdisciplinary educational approach, with subjects: Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Fine Arts. STEAM educational method helps lessons and knowledge become more vivid and attractive, students will be more interested and focused, and they will participate in experiential and practical activities to accumulate experiences. It clearly shows that STEAM education has a certain correlation with integrated educational perspective and methods of learning through play and experience in preschool education. Curently, the application of STEAM education in organizing educational activities for preschool children has been being researched and applied by the localities in preschool educational institutions, including Nghe An Province. Practical Kindergarten of Vinh University is one of the first units in Nghe An Province in approaching, studying, fostering knowledge on STEAM education and applying it to development and implementation of school programs. The development of school progams integrating STEAM activities and projects has created clear changes in program development. The application of STEAM education to development of educational environments and organization for educational activities and STEAM programs has brought many positive educational results to children, contributing to the good and effective implementation of the Preschool Education Program.
