PROTECTING EMPLOYEE RIGHTS IN THE SHARING ECONOMY FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The strong development of the sharing economy model in recent years in Vietnam has raised an increasingly urgent requirement to protect the rights of workers. As a new economic model with many advantages such as economical use of resources and more, taking advantage of digital technology development, but, in the sharing economy, ensuring the rights of employees has not been fully and comprehensively implemented by businesses. This not only affects employees but also negatively affects the stability and sustainability of the economy - society. The article analyzes and evaluates the impact of the shared economic model on employees, clarifies the current situation of the law on protecting the rights of workers when working in these economic models in Vietnam, thereby proposing a number of solutions and recommendations to protect the rights of workers for the goal of sustainable development.
