Verification by ARDL model of the impact of public investment and private investment on economic growth of provinces in the North Central region

The study examines the impact of Public Investment and Private Investment on Economic Growth in the North Central provinces between 2010-2023. Using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag Model (ARDL) combined with the Bound Test as a basis for determining the long-term impact, then using the Error Correction Model (ECM) according to the ARDL approach to determine the short-term effect between them. The empirical results show that Public Investment and Private Investment positively impact Economic Growth in both the short and long term, Public Investment dominates Private Investment in the long term, but not in the short term. In addition, Labor and Human Capital are also proven to have an impact on economic growth in the North Central region. From there, the article proposes policy implications to promote economic growth in the North Central provinces
