Nghi Xuan is a beautiful and poetic land next to the gentle Lam River but is also a place that witnessed much pain and loss due to war and invasion. Therefore, Nghi Xuan people pray day and night and yearn for a peaceful and happy life. With that desire, the people of Nghi Xuan turned to Buddhism to rely on the sound of gongs and sutras, hoping to find a peaceful place in their souls. Over time, Buddhism in Nghi Xuan was closely associated with the rise and fall of Ha Tinh Buddhism and made many contributions to the history of the homeland and the nation. Within the framework of the article, the author summarizes the main features of Nghi Xuan Buddhism in the historical and cultural flow of Ha Tinh Buddhism as well as the role of Nghi Xuan Buddhism in the province.
