Synthesis, characterisation, photocatalytic and antibacterial activities of Ag – doped ZnO nanoparticles

Synthesis, characterization, photocatalytic and antibacterial properties of Ag - doped ZnO nanoparticles were presented in this work. The nanoparticles were synthesizied by the combustion method using polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as an agent. The results desmontrated that Ag - doped ZnO nanoparticles exxhibited superior photocatalytic properties compared to pure ZnO nanoparticles, with the 3% Ag-ZnO sample showing the best photocatalytic and antibacterial activity
