The project has completed the algal biomass production technology Nannochloropsis oculata with two systems of farming in nylon bags and in closed tubes system. In the nylon bags system, the amount of algae biomass produced reached a peak of 80 million per militer on 8th day. And in the closed tubes system, algae reach to higher density and longer time than biomass culture in nylon bags, reach the highest point of 180 million cells per militer on 15th day. The project has produced 404.4 kg of concentrated fresh algae and 57.6 kg of dried algae powder weight suitable for climatic conditions in Nghe An. Algae products reach quality criteria, suitable to produce for aquatic food and raw materials to produce functional foods for humans.
