The article aims to learn how Vietnamese people express movement using verbs of motion. This article investigates the theory of lexicalization models that involve combining semantic elements to make linguistic units. The data includes the expressions of motion verbs and spatial prepositions taken from 12 folk stories and three Vietnamese novels from the 20th century onwards. The results of this article present a number of lexicalization models of semantic components integrated into motion verbs and spatial prepositions. In addition, the article also mentions the grammatical structure of lexical expression of motion verbs in Vietnamese, which refers to the speaker's knowledge of motion used to express motion.
