In recent years, China has constantly promoted science and technology growth to serve the development of the country. Along with this process, many inadequacies have arisen, including the “unprecedented”, and “alarming” violations of scientific integrity in the country's history. The Party and the Chinese Government have set out to radically implement the reforms that build integrity in scientific research. The policies and measures set out are both macro and specific in nature, mainly focusing on the improvement of institutions and management mechanisms; establishment of national databases; improvement of scientific research evaluation mechanisms; strengthening the leadership of parties and authorities at all levels; strictly handling violations of scientific integrity regulations. This article focuses on clarifying reforms that build China's scientific integrity; some of its results and issues.
