During the Doi Moi years, the Communist Party of Vietnam increasingly came to recognize the influence of the role and importance of party leadership methods, and advocated reforming the party's method of governing the state. Reforming the style of party leadership should not only ensure party leadership, but also best promote the development of initiative and creativity in the activities of government bodies and socio-political organizations, while preventing the weakening of the influence of party structures in them. The reform of the methods of party leadership of the state and the political structural element system in recent years has led to, it seems, significant achievements, contributing to an increase in the effectiveness of the party leadership and, at the same time, a more noticeable increase in the influence of the party in state and socio-political organizations. A new era with new opportunities and challenges requires the Communist Party of Vietnam to vigorously seek ways to continue reforming the way it governs government.
