Base on specimens collected in Thọ Xuân district, Thanh Hóa province, this paper provides data on morphological characteristics of species in the genus Chanodichthys Bleeker, 1860, including C. erythropterus (Basilewsky, 1855), C. flavipinnis Tirant 1883, và C. mongolicus (Basilewsky, 1855). The survey also determined the distribution of C. mongolicus in the study area
