STEM education along with technology development in the Fourth Industrial Revolution has set the current trends of advanced education in many countries around the world. STEM education helps learners to develop comprehensively in terms of ethics, intellectual and physical well-being, aesthetics, basic skills, personal capacities, initiative and creativity. To avoid the situations in which students passively perceive knowledge from teachers in an one-way transmission due to traditional teaching methods; the study proposed a process of teaching in the direction of STEM education on the topic “Refraction of light” (Physics 11) using the Crocodile Physics 6.05 software; and evaluated the results of the pedagogical experiments at the primary, secondary and high schools, Ha Tinh University High School. This combination has encouraged students to design their own virtual experiments with the theme “Refraction of light”, promoting their activeness, initiative and creativity; contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning Physics in schools.
