Given the importance of critical thinking in teaching, this study was carried out to investigate the critical thinking attitudes and practices of Vietnamese EFL lecturers, as well as the incorporation of critical thinking into EFL Speaking classroom. To answer the research question, a qualitative study including interviews and classroom observations was used to collect data. The data reveal that there was consistency between the lecturers' critical thinking ideas and behaviors in EFL Speaking lessons. The instructors agreed that critical thinking was a crucial strategy in teaching. They also demonstrated critical thinking integration in their classes by employing a variety of teaching approaches such as higher order thinking questions, group discussions, and debates. Furthermore, the lecturers acknowledged the obstacles they encountered in teaching critical thinking. According to the study's conclusions, there should be training courses for lecturers so that they have adequate knowledge and teaching methods linked to critical thinking, and critical thinking might be a learning outcome in EFL curricula.
