Developing literary capacity is one of the goals that Vietnamese at Primary School under the general education 2018 program aims to achieve. Literary competence is revealed in parallel and interwoven with the process of developing reading, listening, speaking and writing skills in all activities of learning, playing, and exploring the world around. On the other hand, developing students' literary capacity is also a way to help students express their ability to perceive the world of words and emotions, fostering the love of the national language for young souls. This article proposes a system of exercises and ways to build a lesson system to promote the literary capacity of the 5th graders in the current context to help them approach the new educational program more actively and creatively.
