Gender equality in access to education plays an important role in the socioeconomic development of the country in general and Nghe An province in particular. However, at present, the implementation of gender equality in access to education in Nghe An faces many difficulties and challenges such as: The opportunity to access education is not equal in urban - rural areas, between plains and mountain, deep-lying and remote areas, and even within households with unequal living standards. There are many reasons leading to the difficulty in implementing gender equality in education in Nghe An such as people's awareness, economic development, infrastructure equipment and educational attainment of parents…. The gender inequality in education has left consequences for the people involved and for the socioeconomic development here. So a number of solutions are proposed to contribute to the elimination of gender equality in accessing education, creating conditions for promoting the comprehensive development of Nghe An people
