The goal of educational outcomes assessment is to provide accurate, timely, and valuable information about the degree to which the program is meeting program requirements and student progress to guide learning, adjust teaching activities, manage and develop the program, ensure the progress of each student and improve the quality of education. In the 2018 general education program, assessing learning from the perspective of capacity development is not limited to the ability to reproduce knowledge but focuses on the ability to apply knowledge in solving complex tasks. Based on the requirements to pass the Citizenship Education subject identified in the General Education program in 2018, teachers develop a plan and a set of student assessment tools for each lesson or topic.
