Vietnam is a multi-ethnic/ethnic, multicultural country. In particular, the traditional culture of ethnic minorities is a valuable heritage, contributing to the richness and diversity of Vietnamese culture. Thai Quỳ Chau (Nghe An) ethnic group is one of the ethnic groups that still retains many values of cultural heritage. In particular, the folk music of the Quizhou Thai people with folk melodies in the way of reciprocal singing is the quintessential culture distilled through generations, imbued with ethnic cultural nuances. The formation and spread of folk songs of the Thai Quỳ Chau people has been creating opportunities for cultural exchange and acculturation on the one hand, but on the other hand, also posing new challenges in preserving the folklore identity of the Thai Quỳ Chau people in particular, Thai ethnic group in Western Nghe An in general in the context of current integration and globalization.
