The victory of the August Revolution in 1945 was one of the great victories of the Vietnamese nation in the twentieth century. The article presents arguments that the August Revolution is not only the victory of the spirit of "bringing our strength to liberate ourselves", but also the first victory of a colonial people under the leadership of the Party. The Communists overthrew the feudal colonial system and established a revolutionary government of the people, by the people, for the people. At the same time, its victory also has profound pervasive value for the world revolution as a humane model for peace-loving peoples; opened up Vietnam's diplomatic relations with other countries as and with the status of an independent and sovereign nation-state. To bring into play the historical values and international influence in the August Revolution, to arouse the aspiration to develop the country, to promote the will and strength of national unity combined with the strength of the times according to the spirit of the Resolution of the XIII Congress
