The article deals with the tone of Ho Xuan Huong's hieroglyphy poetry from the point of versification. Presenting three main expressions of this tone, the author tries to explain reasons for its formation and confirm innovation in comparison with the previous and contemporary authors. From there, the value and modern thought of her poems are confirmed.
