Research on vascular plants at Khau Ca Snub-nosed Langur Species and Habitat Conservation Area, Ha Giang province has obtained documents on 520 species belonging to 312 genera and 122 families belonging to 4 plant phyla Lycophyta, Polypodiophyta, Pinophyta and Magnoliophyta). In which, Magnoliophyta is the most diverse phylum with 486 species (accounting for 93.46%) of the total number of species in the study area. The families with the largest number of species are Orchidaceae, Rubiaceae, Lauraceae, Rutaceae, Moraceae, Fabaceae, Vitaceae, Araliaceae and Euphorbiaceae. The most diverse genera are Ficus, Tetrastigma, Piper, Rubus, Syzygium, Cinnamomum, Smilax, Litsea and Smilax. There are 30 species of endangered, precious and rare plants that have been identified, accounting for 5.98% of the total number of plant species in the study area. The number of species in the Vietnam Red Book is 26 species, of which - Critically Endangered (CR) - 1 species, Endangered (EN) - 6 species, Vulnerable (VU) - 19 species. The number of species listed in the IUCN Red Book (in 2021) is 5 species. Of these, 1 species is classified as Endangered (EN); list - Vulnerable (VU) - 1 species; category - Least vulnerable (LR) - 1 species; catalog - No interest (LC) - 2 species. Decree 84/2021/ND-CP lists 13 plant species, accounting for 43.33% of the reserve's rare and precious species, accounting for 2.50% of the species in the study area. Belongs to group IA - Forest plant species are threatened with extinction banned from exploitation and use for commercial purposes (IA) - 2 species and group IIA - Forest plant species are at risk of being threatened if not strictly managed, limited exploitation and use for commercial purposes (IIA) has 11 species.
