The problem of plastic pollution has become an alarming environmental problem of the whole world in recent years. Currently, the school has focused on environmental education for sustainable development. However, bringing the problem of reducing plastic waste into schools mainly through educational activities and in teaching subjects is not yet popular. This study shows that integrating plastic waste reduction education into STEM lessons in Ecology (Biology 12) is carried out according to a process consisting of following steps: Determining the goal of integrating plastic waste reduction education; Selecting contents on plastic waste that contribute to meeting the requirements; Designing STEM lessons that integrate education to reduce plastic waste; Teaching organization; Evaluation organization. The results show that students have improved awareness and skills on reducing plastic waste, contributing to improving teaching quality and environmental education in schools today.
