OVERVIEW STUDY ON THE EDUCATION OF TEACHING PROFESSION’S ETHICAL IN VIET NAM FROM 1954 TO PRESENT

Among studies on the field of education and training, the education of teaching profession’s ethical receives huge attention from the State and the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Ministry of Education and Training as well as various researchers throughout the country. This becomes a major concern since there have witnessed emerging issues related to teaching profession’s ethical, the limitation and deterioration of moral values within a minor group of teachers, people’s loss of trust in education for the past few years, all of which necessitate urgent solutions. In that context, study on teaching profession’s ethical and the education of those values in our nation must be conducted properly and effectively. To fulfil that, it is necessary to reflect on the study results for the past period. This article, therefore, would focus on the research issues raised from 1954 to present; thus contribute to draw a conclusion on the study of teaching profession’s ethical as well as the education of those values in Vietnam up to now.
