Research on yellow leaf rot disease citrus in Nghe An province

There are 11 major diseases on citrus in 4 districts on Nghe An, but 3 diseases including yellow leaf rot disease, citrus greening disease and brown rot are the most popular diseases. Yellow leaf rot disease increases gradually from the post-harvest stage to the spring and summer buds, the peak of the disease usually falls in the early hot season when the plants are in the summer buds. Then tends to decrease when the tree enters the fruit development stage and increase after the rainy season at the end of the year. Two fungi causing yellow leaf rot disease of citrus were identified in Nghe An, namely F. solani and P. palmivora. In Quy Hop, Tan Ky, Yen Thanh, both F. solani and P. palmivora species were found on citrus with yellow leaves and root rot. In Thanh Chuong, only F. solani was found on citrus with yellow leaf rot disease
