All environmental crimes committed by commercial legal entities are subject to criminal prosecution. To prosecute criminal liability for corporate legal entities, up to now, Vietnam has a 2015 Penal Code, Criminal Procedure Code 2015 and a 2019 Criminal Judgment Execution Law. Similarly, sentencing procedures for corporate legal entities with environmental crimes are still controversial and have been urgently discussed. The 2015 Penal Code on corporate legal entities has been in effect for nearly 5 years, but in fact, as of July 2020, no commercial legal entity has been prosecuted or tried. The difficult problem is that the penalties applied to legal entities are different in nature, order, procedures and manner of proceeding than for individuals. This article introduces new provisions on corporate criminal liability for environmental crimes in the Vietnam Penal Code 2015 and analyzes, points out some challenges, and proposes some recommendations. in criminal judgment execution in
