The Ma Coong in Quang Binh in particular and the Bru - Van Kieu in Binh - Tri - Thien in general have an extremely rich and diverse cultural life. In which, the drum beating festival and the buffalo sacrifice ceremony are the community cultural activities that are said to be the most typical and typical of the Ma Coong people. Because those festivals focus the intelligence of the whole community, as well as converging many cultural values that show the character and bravery of the Ma Coong people. Besides, the activities in the festival both show the role of the people and the role of the landowner in maintaining and preserving the traditional cultural values of the Ma Coong people today. Therefore, within the framework of this article, we focus on clarifying the cultural value of the buffalo sacrifice festival of the Ma Coong people in Quang Binh; at the same time, propose some solutions to contribute to preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values in the buffalo sacrifice festival of the Coong people.
