In this paper, we compare solid-core silica photonic crystal fibers (PCFs)
infiltrated with water and ethanol. We examine the dispersion curves and values as well as
the zero-dispersion wavelengths (ZDWs) of the PCFs which have a hexagonal cladding.
Our results suggest that the PCFs can be optimized for supercontinuum generation (SG)
applications.
