The education sector, especially higher education institutions, has identified a pioneering mission in carrying out this task, contributing to shortening the innovation process, improving the quality of education, and actively contributing to the educational process. country number conversion. Besides, the current COVID-19 pandemic has a great impact on higher education worldwide. With teaching and learning moving online, teachers and students must adapt and adapt to the use of information technology. In addition, promoting digital transformation in higher education institutions contributes to spillovers to other areas of Vietnam's economy and society. Therefore, higher education needs to change fundamentally to meet the requirements of the current context/time. The article focuses on clarifying the issue of digital transformation in higher education as well as the actual situation of digital transformation in higher education departments in Vietnam today. From there, propose solutions to promote digital transformation in higher education institutions in Vietnam.
