The article suggests how to prepare a plan for teaching the 6th-grade philology according to the Secondary Education Program in 2018. On the basis of presenting new points about the goals and requirements of the secondary education program for philology in 2018, through the comparison with the current program, the article proposes the orientation of building the 6th- grade philology teaching plan according to the Secondary Education Program in 2018 with specific contents: determine the rate of time spent on reading, writing, speaking and listening skills over the total periods of the subject specified in a school year; It is expected to allocate the number of periods for the training of four skills mentioned above in one lesson/topic ... The building of the 6th-grade philology teaching plan is currently facing many difficulties due to the absence of textbooks. Therefore, these proposals aim to motivate teachers to learn about the new secondary education program, and at the same time to collaborate with them in drafting a plan for teaching the 6th-grade philology according to new textbooks which will be used from the school year 2021-2022.
