Implement Directive No. 01-CT/TW, dated March 9, 2021 of the Politburo “On researching, studying, mastering, propagating and implementing the Resolution of the 5th National Congress of Deputies XIII of the Party”; At the same time, it comes from the requirements of renewing and improving the efficiency of current political theory research and teaching. The mastery and application of new points in the contents of the congress document to the study and teaching of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh's thought is a necessary requirement. Within the scope of this article, we point out new points in the document of the 13th National Party Congress that need to be thoroughly understood and applied to the research and teaching of Ho Chi Minh's ideology on contents such as: National independence associated with socialism; building the Party and consolidating the Party's leadership role; building a rule of law state of the people, by the people and for the people; building the great national unity block; culture and building new people.
