Effect of geometry parameter on the nonlinear buckling behavior of web tapered steel columns

The research aim investigates the behavior of Web tapered steel columns with nonlinear buckling using finite element simulation. 3D modeling of web tapered steel columns with nonlinear buckling (Eigenvalue buckling) was developed and analyzed using ANSYS Workbench R18.1 software. The finite element of web tapered steel columns with nonlinear buckling results has verified with the previous experimental results and give exact results. From this model, the study investigated the influence of the rate of the column, the change of the width web of cross-section columns to the behavior with nonlinear buckling (Eigenvalue buckling).
