The article researches on the mechanism to protect the interests of depositors at credit institutions by deposit insurance method on the basis of assessing the legal status and practice of law implementation in Vietnam; comparison with some countries in the world. From there, the author proposes a number of solutions and recommendations to improve the law and improve the efficiency of the implementation of the deposit insurance law on protecting the interests of depositors at credit institutions in Vietnam today.
