In the process of regional and international integration, the Government of Vietnam aims to create favorable conditions for migrant workers including foreign employees. The Government of Vietnam has paid more attention to the rights of migrant workers in general and the rights of foreign workers in particular. This paper presents some issues relating to social insurance benefits of foreign workers working in Vietnam. Based on the paper’s findings, some solutions are proposed to enhance the effectiveness of regulations on the compulsory social insurance for foreign workers working in Vietnam.
