Nowadays, Oyster mushroom cultivation has been increasing in Nghe An province. Disease on the oyster mushroom is one of the main factor causing the decrease in productivity of oyster mushroom. There are three main diseases on the oyster mushroom in Nghe An which are caused by Aspergiluss sp., Trichoderma sp., and Neurospora sp.. In which, the disease caused by Trichoderma sp. is recognized as the most popular disease on the oyster mushroom. Trichoderma sp. affects especially serious at the stage oyster mushroom inoculation lead to the weak development if the mycelium. At the stage that oyster mushroom mycelium has covered half or all of the substrate bag, Trichoderma sp. can reduce the productivity of oyster mushroom. Trichoderma sp. shows less effect to the oyster mushroom at the fruiting stage. Preventing Trichoderma sp. on oyster mushroom by using calcium hydroxide solution is recognized as the effective way at the stage the mushroom mycelium covers half of the substrate bag (using calcium hydroxide solution 15%) or all of the substrate bag (using calcium hydroxide solution 10%).
