The process of studying the status of overweight and obesity in children aged 5 to 6 years old at some
preschools in Vinh city showed that the rate of overweight and obese children accounted for 8.3%, in that
rate of overweight children is 6.0%, the rate of obese children is 2.3%. It shows that the rate of overweight
and obese children is increasing rapidly.
