The new general education curriculum builds science subject to form and develop natural scientific competence of junior high school students. The designing and using the PISA approach exercise to foster the natural scientific competence for students to enhance the quality of teaching in junior high schools. The article focuses on the presentation of building, using the PISA approach exercise in teaching chemical topics. In addition, the article also presents the general knowledge of PISA, competence, the natural scientific competence framework and natural scientific competence assessment tools through PISA approach exercises.
