In this paper, we investigated the confinement loss properties of photonic crystal
fibers (PCFs) with hollow-core infiltrated by aromatic compounds (Benzene,
Nitrobenzene, and Toluene). We have analyzed and compared the difference of
confinement loss varies according to the wavelength λ, the lattice constant Ʌ, and the
filling factor d/Ʌ. At the same time, we calculated and compared the values confinement
loss of PCFs when infiltrated Benzene, Nitrobenzene and Toluene at 1.55 µm wavelength.
We obtained the optimal structures with the smallest confinement loss to apply for
supercontinuum generation.
