Intersubband optical absorption spectrum was studied in quantum well structures in quantizing magnetic field tilted with respect to the structure layers. Violation of the selection rule forbidding optical intersubband transitions in structures made of quantum wells with an asymmetric potential is proposed. The importance of asymmetric structure design to achieve considerable values of optical absorption is demonstrated
