The paper presents the result of reseaching effect of hydraulic loading rates on the BOD5, COD removal efficiency in the horizantal subsurface flow constructed wetland planting Scirpus grossus linn.f, based on this result to access the ability of system on removing COD and BOD5 and to determine the optimal HLRs of system.
