The purpose of this paper is to be a strategic assessment of the correctness of state and regional forest policy. For this, numerical ratios are determined among the main parameters of the forest fund: volume, yield, volume of timber harvested and mortality. In addition, with the assistance of forest balance, the region's forest fund dynamics modeling results are verified in the near and long term.
