From the density matrix equation, the paper has presented the interaction between the
electromagnetic field and electron in the semiconductor quantum well with V configuration. We
study the change of absorption coefficient in a semiconductor and frequency of probe laser and
coupling laser. From the research results, we determine the values of Ωp, Ωc, Δp, Δc for the
appearance of the electromagnetically induced transparency effect.
