Entering the first decade of the 21st century, in the context of the impact of the regional and global financial and economic crisis, Korea quickly overcame and rose to become a developed country. The timely application of many innovative and groundbreaking policies and measures is the fundamental reason for the country's economy to achieve many achievements. Within 10 years (2001-2010), economy scale, GDP growth rate, average income Korea's capita is continuously growing; Development indicators of industry, agriculture, trade relations and investment... all increased strongly. These achievements help Korea become developed economy, one of the four "Asian dragons" and joining the group of largest economies in the world (G20). The article focuses on clarifying the achievements and main causes in Korea's economic development in the period 2001-2010, thereby drawing some conclusions.
