EFFECT OF FERTILIZER AND PLANT DENSITIES ON GROWTH, AND YIELD OF BAC HUONG 9 RICE VARIETY IN QUY CHAU DISTRICT, NGHE AN PROVINCE

The experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of fertilizer and plant densities on the growth and yield of Bac Huong 9 rice variety in Quy Chau district, Nghe An province in 2020. The 2 factor experiment was arranged in split-plot with three replications, in which fertilizer treatments were being the main plot factor and plant densities (35, 40, 45 plant/m2) were being the subplot factor. The results showed that the hightest values of growth parameter and resistance were obtained with the application of 100 N + 60 P2O5 + 80 K2O combined with 10 ton organically animal compost + 500 kg CaO per hectare. The highest value of harvested yield (6.75 tons per hectare) in spring season 2020 was obtained with the application of 100N + 60 P 2O5 + 80 K2O with 45 plants/m2.
