This study was conducted to evaluate the soil texture and nutrient content of coastal mangrove areas in three districts of Quynh Luu, Dien Chau and Nghi Loc, Nghe An province, with the aim of serving the lost mangrove area. Through two sampling and analysis phases, it showed that soil texture, including sand was the main component with silt and clay additives. Thereby soils were classified as silty sand in all study sites, soil pH ranged from 5.2 to 8.6, the bulk density ranges from 0.4 to 0.61 g/cm3. The areas of Lac Quen estuary (S1, S2), Lach Van river (S8, S9), Lam river (S12, S13) had higher values of %OM, T-P and T-N than that of the coastal areas. The highest concentration of T-P recorded in S9 which was 231.1 mg.kg-1 (2019) and the T-N was S13 was 575.3 mg.kg-1 (2020).
